Many thanks to Cristine Kern of ERS and ART
for her interesting and informative presentation

Dear NECEA Family, Friends, and Community,

I write to you at this time understanding that although this may not be the world’s first pandemic, it is the first to this scale in our lifetimes… with a story that is still being written.  The uncertainty that comes with not knowing when or how exactly things will end only adds to the current unrest within our society and world.  For this reason I not only compose this message as the acting NECEA President, but as a personal friend to many of our community members and associates.

As an association created “to serve as an educational forum and medium for the discussion and study of property and casualty loss adjustment problems…” it is with regret that we must provide the following updates:

  • The 19th Annual All Industry Night, scheduled for April 15 has been cancelled.  This event was to benefit the Arthur C. Luf Children’s Burn Camp as our sole beneficiary. If you would still like to make a donation to the camp, you can by using this link:

https://hartfordpond.wufoo.com/forms/zziq2f00vosu56/

  • The NECEA’s May 19th Golf Outing and Annual Meeting will be moved to a later date; possibly in September. That event also includes the NECEA Scholarship and Charity Awards.  Scholarship applications are still being considered; for additional information, please go to:

WE, as New England Claim Executives’ Association Officers (past and present) hope you and your families are all doing well under these circumstances. The supporting of our community’s health and welfare is of our highest priority.  Stay positive, embrace the time with the people closest to you, and look to the horizon when we can meet again.  We appreciate all of you and your continued support of the NECEA!

Best Regards,

Charles R. Kiablick

President

New England Claims Executives’ Association

no later than the close of business the Monday prior to the Tuesday meeting.

For all monthly meetings at other locations and our annual May golf outing, we will entertain

NECEA was founded in 1930  to promote professionalism among claims people in the New England Region.
Our monthly meetings offer speakers from all disciplines in the claims industry including company claims executives,
independent adjusters, attorneys, engineers, accountants, restoration experts and salvors.

By encouraging professionalism we believe that we can raise the level of service that the
claims industry provides; and make it operate more effectively and
efficiently.

Our members are dedicated to providing the highest quality professional service
to insureds and those within the industry that we support.

If you would like more information regarding our organization please feel free to contact any of our officers.
